Dol7 Real time Data Logging Procedure, 01/31/06

Open Dol7.exe in DOS.

Setup -> Setup file options -> (tab over to data area) use spacebar to select each data item using the tab key to move thru the choices. 98,000 data points is the max setting!

Real -> Normal Operations -> Hit "Save" at screen bottom to start data logging.

"Save on" appears at top of window, and counter increments when logging is working. The counter must increment or there is no data being logged.

Logging will terminate when the counter reaches it's setting, or when "Exit" is hit.


*** How To Read a logged data file ***

Open Dol7.exe

File -> Open(F3) -> hit tab once to get to "Files".

Page Down or Arrow over to the file RDATA.DAT, hit "Enter". The file can be renamed anything you like. The location of the file can be changed as well.

Data file will be displayed in another window if enough ram is available.

Since RDATA.DAT is just a text file, any text editor will open it if needed.
